Lewis Hamilton's ex parter Nicole Scherzinger will be performing on Saturday after the qualifying takes place at Baku's GP. She will be joined in the stage by The Black Eyed Peas. The entire performance is a back-to-back show, thus it is presumed to be something worth watching.

Interesting this here will be how British driver Hamilton will react to this, since the couple split in the end of 2015 after being together for some years. Although is has been said that they parted in friendly terms, does this mean this could be a chance to meet again? Resolve unfinished businesses?

Lance Stroll finishes his first Formula 1 race

After numerous crashes and accidents in the previous races, it was definitely something to see Williams driver Lance Stroll finish last weekend's Russian GP. Things had not been looking bright for the Canadian since Barcelona's testings. People had even compared him to Pastor Maldonado

Previous crash in China with Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, had been yet another disappointment for the British team. The 18 year old rookie has had a rough start, let us hope he improves and gets the hang of it soon.

Remembering Jules Bianchi

After last weekend's Russian GP I could not help to remember Jules Bianchi. With everything that has happened lately with 17 year old driver Billy Monger and Spanish 11 year old driver Gonzalo Bazurto it all came back. Three years ago drivers gathered before the race in tribute to Bianchi, who had crashed a week before in Japan, hitting a tele handler that was recovering Adrian Sutil's car.

We lost this talented driver in 2015, after almost a year of being in comma and giving no real sign of soon recovery. Let us never forget that this sport can be dangerous, and that safety for everyone has to be a top priority.

Former driver Jenson Button has confirmed he will take Fernando Alonso's place for the Monaco GP. After Mclaren's tragic performance during this season's races, the Spaniard will be racing Indy's 500 miles.

Here's David Coulthard's phone call where he tells everything about it. It will be nice seeing the Brit again in the paddock, the question here is how willing he is of driving Mclaren's current car. I am sure he is wondering, if Alonso is not happy will I be? At least it is an opportunity for Button to stay close to F1 and hopefully seeing him back driving for a team in the next couple of years.

How do you tell Fernando Alonso they AGAIN had engine issues?

The Russian GP, is about to start, all the cars are lined up as they start the lap around the circuit before the lights go off. Spanish driver Fernando Alonso reacher out to his engineers and tells them there is something going on with the car (once again), after doing what the team instructed he surrounded turns off the ignition and proceeds to get out of the car and walk all the way down the pit lane to McLaren's box.

To be honest I cannot remember the time when Alonso finished a race with no problems at all. The news about him racing for Indy definitely questions what is going on for the British racing team. How do you explain to two times World Champion that their car is not even fit to finish one single race? That his car does not have what it takes to even stay in the first five places?

Alonso must really be looking forward to the Indy race, even if that means missing the Monaco GP. Where former British driver Jenson Button will take his place.

One thing to admire is how diplomatic the Spaniard is taking all the media, interviews and comments going on about the terrible seasons McLaren has had in the past two years. Pity seeing such driver not even being able to start and finish a race.

Congratulations to @valtteribottas on his first place in the Russian GP! #valtteribottas #bottas #mercedes

17 year old driver Billy Monger is still recovering after his fatal crash in Donnington two weeks ago. He crashed into a stopped car. Special maneuvers to retrieve him out of the car lasted more than an hour, then he has taken to the closest hospital, where they had to amputate both his legs. Although, sources state he is looking positive and already considering the modifications to be made to his car in order for him to keep driving it.

His team's owner Steven Hunter started a funding campaign to fund the drivers recovery process.

May 1st marks the anniversary of Brazilian Formula 1 Champion Ayrton Senna. 23 years after his fatal crash at Imola Italy, many people remember his indescribable talent behind the wheel, and the extraordinary human being he was.

Here is a tribute to one of motorsports legends.

The 27 year-old Finnish driver had waited 80 GP to finally grasp the very first place. After a long way, the past Sunday during the Russian GP he climbed to the top of the podium holding the trophy given to him by the Russian President Vladimir Putin

Having started in the third position he managed to grasp and hold on to the first place for the majority of the race. His teammate Lewis Hamilton was not that lucky having rear problems. Things for Ferrari's driver Sebastian Vettel got interesting for the last five laps, when he got closer to the Fin. Although, the final key was Felipe Massa who was being overpassed by Valtteri, and by the time Vettel went passed him he lost almost a second when the Brazilian narrowed his trajectory.

This is definitely an interesting turn of events for this years championship, although Hamilton and Vettel are in the first and second places, Bottas has demonstrated that he is here to fight for those points.
